Having great hair doesn't need to be complicated, time consuming or boring. OUR FOUNDER

After 10+ years of damaging her hair with bleach, colour treatments and high-temperature hair styling tools, our founder Jody thought it was time she made a lifestyle change and re-evaluated her haircare routine. 

With no prior expertise, she set out to research the haircare industry and educate herself on what she could do to improve the health and appearance of her hair.

Upon researching, she discovered how important it is to use haircare products without harsh chemical ingredients like parabens and silicones, which to her surprise are actually commonly found in popular hair products. These chemicals can be absorbed into your scalp and damage your hair over time, causing it to become dry, dull, and brittle.

While on the hunt to update her haircare routine she struggled to find a simple yet effective haircare brand that uses clean ingredients while also matching the aesthetic of her bathroom so that she could proudly leave it on display. This was the moment she realised that she had identified a gap in the market, particularly in Australia, and this lead her to the development and creation of ORORA Hair - effective and clean haircare made simple. 

MEANING BEHIND THE NAME

Pronounced as aurora (au·ro·ra) to mean dawn in latin.
